Organize and collaborate on your lobbying efforts
The idea behind CORAL is to provide a resource for Alabama grassroots organizations to help them organize their lobbying effort. After starting a project, you can track and change the positions of each member of the Alabama Senate and House of Representatives.
- CORAL is Secure
Only the creator of a project and invited members can see or even know about the project. You can invite other members and determine if they can view the project, leave comments, and/or change positions.
- CORAL is helpful
This system allows a lobbying effort, or "project," to be tracked and maintained across the world by members. With the legislative map, you can see how far your group has come and you can see which legislators need to be focused on.
- CORAL is free
Businesses and many large special interest groups can afford lobbyists to do their legislative work for them. This system is designed to help everyone else.

As user feedback comes in, I'll be happy to add additional features and fix any potential bugs.
What does CORAL do?
The primary goal is simplicity. After creating a username and password, you're in. To work on a project, you can either create your own or have someone else invite you to their project. The main function of the system is to provide a unique legislative map of each project. The owner of the project and other invited members can then change the positions of each legislator and/or leave a comment about any contact they have had.
If you or a member with appropriate permission has reason to change the position of a legislator, you simply click on his or her name on the legislative map to change their position or leave a comment. The legislative map is then updated automatically.
